About this policy

This policy explains how Rebel Vending Ltd ("we", "us") uses cookies on this website, including our online shop for Rebel Fudge. Rebel Vending Ltd also trades as Rebellade.

We use essential cookies to run the site and shop. We only use analytics cookies if you agree to them. We do not use advertising cookies.

This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device when you visit. They let the site remember things, such as what is in your basket, and help us understand how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, work in the same way and are covered by this policy too.

Cookies we use

Our website is built and hosted on Squarespace, which sets most of the cookies below. The exact cookies can change as Squarespace updates its platform; its current full list is in the Squarespace Help Center article "The cookies Squarespace uses".

Strictly necessary cookies (for example crumb, hasCart, CART, ss_cookieAllowed) keep the site secure, remember your basket, run checkout and remember your cookie choice. The site and shop cannot work without them, so they do not need your consent.

Analytics cookies (for example ss_cvr, ss_cvt, ss_cid) count visits and show us which pages are popular, using Squarespace Analytics. These are only set if you accept them.

Payment provider cookies are set by Stripe and PayPal when you pay. They process your payment securely and help prevent fraud. Stripe and PayPal control how these cookies work, as explained in their own privacy and cookie policies.

We do not use advertising, retargeting or social media tracking cookies (such as the Meta Pixel).

Your choices

When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. Declining does not affect your ability to shop. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of the page.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the basket and checkout will not work.

For more about cookies and your rights, see the Information Commissioner's Office website at ico.org.uk.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when we change how our website works, for example if we add new tools. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.

If you have any questions about cookies, contact Rebel Vending Ltd at hello@rebelvending.co.uk.
